School Life Under Lockdown - posted 12th Jun

Following the nine week closure of the school due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our children began a phased return to school on 1st June 2020 and school life has been very different for everybody. Despite this the children have been amazing and have adapted well to social distancing, constant hand-washing and the other measures we have put in place. They are also enjoying being back in school and seeing their friends, all be it from a distance.

World Book Day 2020 - posted 6th Mar

Yesterday we celebrated World Book Day.  This year the children did not dress up as we were keen for the focus to be on the books rather than their costumes. In their Houses the children were read different books and then they took part in a variety of activities to explore in more detail the story lines and characters. The books were 7 Ate 9, The day I swapped my dad for two goldfish, The Stinky Cheeseman, I am Henry Finch, Man in the Moon, You must bring a hat, The Pencil and Whose afraid of the Bib Bad Book..

Jaguars Reward Activity - posted 6th Mar

Today the children in the Jaguars House received their reward for earning the most house points last term.  They spent time during the afternoon playing traditional board games. They enjoyed playing games they had not seen before and having time to play with the other children in their house.

Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bonnet Competition - posted 25th Apr

On the last day of term we celebrated Easter will an Easter Bonnet Competition, an Easter Wordsearch Competition, an Easter Egg Hunt and a fete. These were kindly organised by The Brampton Stars, our parents association. The Easter Bonnets were particularly amazing. The children thoroughly enjoyed the hunt for eggs with the older children helping the younger ones.

A French Christmas - posted 4th Dec

This morning the children in Classes 2 & 3 celebrated a French Christmas. Mrs Beckett told the children about how Christmas is celebrated in France and what traditions the French people follow. The children, decorated yule logs, sang French carols, made Christmas cards and did word searches to find French words relating to Christmas. The children had a lovely morning and learnt a lot about a French Christmas. Thank you Mrs Beckett.

Harvest Festival - posted 17th Oct

Today we celebrated Harvest Festival. We were joined by many parents and family members. As always our families were extremely generous with their donations and we delivered those donations to The Hope Centre, who work tirelessly to support homeless people in Northampton.
