Welcome to Reception at Bramptons – the exciting beginning of your child's school journey!

Our Reception class is a small, nurturing community of just 14 children, supported by a full-time teacher and dedicated support staff. This enables us to get to know every child as an individual and provide the care, encouragement and support they need as they begin their time at school.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, providing children with a rich range of experiences that support their development across all areas of learning.

Learning through play is at the heart of our Reception provision. Children are encouraged to explore, investigate, create, question and discover as they develop their knowledge, skills and understanding. We carefully plan opportunities that spark children's curiosity and create moments of awe and wonder, helping them to develop a genuine love of learning.

Our children learn both indoors and outdoors, enjoying purposeful experiences that develop their communication, language, early reading and writing, mathematical thinking, physical development, creativity and personal and social skills.

We want every child to feel happy, safe, confident and excited to come to school, building strong foundations for a successful and enjoyable learning journey at The Bramptons.
