Child Protection
To ensure that we protect the children in our care we:-
-
make the welfare of all children paramount.
-
create an environment where children feel safe and secure.
-
recognise that some children may be particularly vulnerable to abuse if they have Special Educational Needs or are living in adverse circumstances.
-
encourage children to talk about anything that is concerning them, ensuring they know that they will be listened to by the adults.
-
ensuring staff are trained to recognise the signs of abuse and neglect and the procedure they must follow to raise their concerns.
