Remembrance Day 2017

On 10th November we held our Remembrance Day Assembly to pay respect to all the men and women that fought and died in conflicts all over the world in defence of our country. Also all those that played an essential role in supporting the war effort and keeping the country running. We were joined by Mr Rose from the Royal British Legion who talked to the children about the significance of the poppy and the importance of recognising Remembrance Day.

Each class made poppy wreaths created from the outlines of the hands of the children and they were displayed at the front of the school.
