Active Learning Day - posted 30th Mar

On  24th March 2022 the school took part in an Active Learning Day,. The aim of this initiative is to encourage the children to be more active in lessons and in life. We are supporting the Leukaemia Care charity this year and as part of our Active Learning Day the children have taken part in a sponsored walk/run.  In the afternoon the older children ran and walked laps of the large playing field and the Reception children completed laps of the playground on balance bikes. Northamptonshire Sports also brought two rowing machines into school so class 3 children could compete in rowing races. The weather was glorious and the children enjoyed the opportunity to take part in additional exercise and raise money for an excellent cause.

Panthers Reward - posted 15th Mar

In recognition of the Panthers gaining the most House Points last term, their reward afternoon took place today. They all brought in traditional board games and spent quality time playing games with their friends and fellow Panthers across the school.

World Book Day 2022 - posted 11th Mar

We celebrated World Book Day on 3rd March 2022. We do not dress up at The Bramptons as we feel this detracts from the real focus of the day - reading and appreciating books. In classes the children participated in a number of reading based activities. This included adult led activities and free reading time. The Staff shared the books they loved as children and children shared their favorite books.

School Life Under Lockdown - posted 12th Jun

Following the nine week closure of the school due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our children began a phased return to school on 1st June 2020 and school life has been very different for everybody. Despite this the children have been amazing and have adapted well to social distancing, constant hand-washing and the other measures we have put in place. They are also enjoying being back in school and seeing their friends, all be it from a distance.
